An Artist Starvin’ for Inspiration
"My mission is to help people bring Art into their lives…."
Louisville artist David H. Green (aka. Starvin Artist) has just published a collection of provocative art works in a coffee table book of photographic imagery called Life is short. Art is forever. The men in David’s images come from all walks of life and have inspired his notions of allure, hope, toxic shock, fierce, mellow, affliction and others. The beauty of supporting this Louisville artist is that a portion of all proceeds from the purchase of his book benefits the House of Ruth.
David says of his artfully designed pages, "Life is short. Art is forever. is a representation of those who have inspired me…They are some I have encountered for many years, some I’ve encountered for only a brief time, and some in between…Each inspiration is true…."
FYI - The name Starvin’ Artist was actually coined by Hurricane Summers a few years ago. One of David’s art shows had been cancelled and she made the comment, "They may have cancelled the art show but they can never cancel the Starvin’ Artist!"
